deleting extra blank pages

Haven't figured out how to delete the extra pages that
often appear after working w/ borders and tables. Not
sure why they occur, but more importantly would like to
know how to delete them. The copy/cut functions show up
grayed out. TX

If you select part of your document, the Copy and Cut functions should not be
grayed out. I would try putting my cursor at what I want to be the end of the
document, then type Ctrl+Shift+End to select everything after the point where
the cursor is. Then hit Delete.

Hi, Michael,

It's a fact of life in Word that there must always be a paragraph mark at
the end of the document -- that's where Word stores formatting information
that applies to the whole document, and you can't get rid of it. If the last
thing before that final paragraph mark is a table, the paragraph mark must
be below the table, not next to it. If the table happens to extend to the
bottom of a page, then the paragraph mark will cause an apparently blank
page.

You can pull the paragraph mark back onto the page with the table by
slightly reducing font sizes or the Space Before/After settings of the
visible text, and you can try selecting just the final paragraph mark and
formatting it to a size of 1 pt.

Also, turn on the ¶ button and make sure there's only one paragraph mark at
the end of the document.

TX Jay- Tend to squeeze as much as I can onto a page and
often run page borders to the maximum of what my printer
will handle. Use visual format functions w/ other apps
for web- don't know why I overlook certain techniques
when working in Word creating pages for print. TX Daleje-
I placed cursor at end of doc,typed "Ctrl+Shift+End", and
hit Delete w/o results. Am I doing something incorrectly?
Very interested in applying this if I can figure it out.
