Deleting files

I have a bunch of files that look like this ~WRL1740.TMP
and every time I try to delete them they multiply. Can
someone help me et these out of my docs..they are
annoying. The word version came with windows xp thanks

Word makes those temp files whenever you save a doc, but they should delete
themselves when you close Word. If they're still present after you close
Word, use Task Manager to kill all the WINWORD.EXE processes you see. Then
you can delete any remaining temp files.
