deleting images in FP2003

Hello helpers
I have many images on my server that I have used on my web site over the
years and need to delete the ones I don't use on the site, is there a way to
find all of the images in my FP local site that I don't use and delete them
all at one go then upload my image file again so it deletes them from the
server?
Thanks Keith

Open your local web. Click View > Reports > Problems > Unlinked files.
Verify which ones you actually want to delete, delete them and then publish "changes."

Unlinked file is not the safest way
View Hyperlinks is better (selecting each image in Folder List),
- but neither will identify images used in scripts

| Open your local web. Click View > Reports > Problems > Unlinked files.
| Verify which ones you actually want to delete, delete them and then publish "changes."

It is a matter of going through your web, finding the images you want ot delete
and delete them. Then do the same on your remote server.

To select multiple images at once I think it is ctrl-left mouse click or
shift-left mouse click.

The way I do it is browse through Windows Explorer in the My Webs folder and then
to the sub folder within that to the web folder for a particular site, then in
the images folder use the preview or thumbnail view of the Explorer folder to see
what the image is, and delete it on the spot.
