Deleting In Use Tables from Enterprise Global

J

J. Belcher

I have some admins who have populated gnatt chart and entry views/tables to
enterprise global and I am trying to delete them.

I get the message that they are currently in use and cannot be deleted. I
am assuming that is because someone has a project open that is using the
views.

What is the best recourse here to be able to delete the pollution? Do I
need to wait until off-hours? Or is there some command to temporarily push
everyone out so that it can be deleted.

They are probably in use by YOU.
The global does not keep track of who else may be using it.
Try closing all projects except checked out enterprise global, then switch
to a view which is NOT the gantt view and which does NOT use the entry table
and then try and delete the views.
