Hello,
I was playing with the 'Work' Menu in Word 2004 and put a document there.
Now I want to remove that document from the menu, but I'm having trouble.
First I searched help on doing this and it says to press
command-option-minus, and the pointer should change to a black minus sign.
Then I can just click on the menu item and it should go away. Put
command-option-minus doesn't do anything on my machine.
Then I tried to remove it through menu customization, but what appears when
editing the 'Work' toolbar is a '(List of Work Items)' item that can't be
deleted.
Is there a file in which this information is kept so I can just manually
delete it (I guess I'm showing my unix roots when requesting such a thing)?
I googled but didn't find any information about this problem. Any clues?
Thanks,
Matthew Leingang
