Deleting last page of a document?

I have a document that has 3 sections (with different
header/footer). I'm attempting to delete the last page of
this document which is in its own section.

When I do this, the formatting from that last page gets
applied to the previous section, wiping out headers, page
numbers, etc.

I've searched all over and tried several different
suggestions, but can't seem to get it done. I know it has
something to do with the section break on the last section
but I just can't seem to nail down the problem.

What I want to know is how to delete the last section
without messing up the one previouse to it
