Deleting Lines & Boxes

I have scanned a pre-printed letter and I am now trying to edit it. The
information I need is in two boxes surrounded by other boxes & lines. I need
to delete the unwanted boxes & lines as I need white space around the
selected boxes. Can anyone understand this mess well enough to help me?
