deleting macros

[Dan]

The macro dialog box won't let me delete macros (Delete is greyed out). How
do I get rid of macros that shouldn't be there?

(I have deleted all copies of Normal.dot but that didn't help.)

Macros that can't be deleted are most likely in protected add-ins. Change
the "Macros in" setting to see which template/add-in the macros are in, then
remove that template/add-in.
