Deleting Office 2007 trial

My trial has expired, I thought I removed the trial from add/remove programs
in control panel. When I open Word docs the 2007 version still comes up and
I cant edit or create documents in it because the trial has expired.
When I attempt to delete the program now it says the program setup is
corrupted and wont allow me to do anything with the program. I tried
restoring to a prior date but this does no good. HELP!!
Is there away to select microsoft 2002 as my default so that I dont have to
deal with Microsoft 2007?

When you installed the trial did you make sure you did not *upgrade* your
old version? If you didn't do that, you will have to install Office XP
again - after you uninstall the trial version.

There is a Knowledge Base article on uninstalling Office 2007 when
Add/Remove Programs fails, but it is a long, tiresome manual process. When
you are done you may need to reinstall Office 2002.
