Deleting Outlook 2002 when installing Outlook 2003

Stuart Lee

I have just bought Office 2003 and want to load Outlook
2003. I don't seem to be able to do this. Outlook 2002
won't delete; I've deleted in the Add/Remove programmes
in the Control Panel but still the Outlook version
remains 2002.
I think that the best solution is to delete 2002 and then
re-intall Office 2003
Can anyone help please

The Office 2003 installation will remove Outlook 2002 automatically.

Sue" (or anyone else), I too have installed M/S Office Professional 2003
w/Outlook 2003 and still have Outlook 2002 on my PC. I have also tried to
remove the Outlook 2002 program (using add/remove programs) but still see
that the application remains on my PC and seems active. Now that I am going
to use O/Look 2003 , I no longer need the 02 version and want to fully delete
it. Please advise.

What are the symptoms that indicate that it's active?
