Deleting Outlook connector causes error message pop-ups!

How do I completely delete Outlook Connector from Outlook 2007? I do not ever
use my Hotmail account or MSN live or anything similar. I am trying to
remove Outlook connector because its pop-ups are frustating. I went online
to get the instructions for doing this. I removed Outlook Connector using
the add/remove process in the Control Panel. Now I get another pop-up when I
open Outlook that says: "The Add-in 'Outlook Connector Extenstions'
(msncon32.dll) cannot be loaded and has been disabled by Outlook. Please
contact the Add-in manufacturer for an update. If no update is available,
please uninstall the Add-in." Outlook Connector does not show up on my
Add-in list. What do I do now to stop this error pop-up and also to stop the
Outlook Connector?

Did you first delete the Hotmail account? With Outlook closed, delete the
(usually hidden) file extend.dat found in %UserProfile%\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook on WIndows XP or
%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Outlook on Windows Vista (or 7). That should
eliminate the message you see the next time Outlook starts.
