deleting project workspaces in Project server 2007

Hello good pple of the forum,
I have finding it very difficult to delete the project workspaces in project
server 2007 after i have deleted the enterprise objects associated with a
particular the project workspace still exist. Even i use the stsadm tool i
still can't delete the workspaces.

Please how do i get around this.

Hello ghostme,

You mean, after deleting the project still you see the workspace? if
you delete the project from Server settings and Delete Enterprise
Objects, it should delete the workspace also.

Please remember, you have to choose the option "Delete the associated
Windows SharePoint Services sites?" to delete the workspace. Otherwise
even though project got deleted, site still exists as orphan site.

You can delete the workspaces by using below options:

******************************************************************
Option A:

PWA home -> Server Settings -> Project Workspaces - Select workspace
and click on Delete Site

******************************************************************************

Option B: If you created the workspace site under PWA, please do the
following:

PWA home -> Site Actions menu at right corner -> Site Settings ->
Sites and Workspaces -> Click on X against to site to delete

Yes Chak & ghostme,

Also if you choosen option A, you still need to perform option B to
remove the workspace from site collection. As Chak said, keep checking
the option to remove workspace while deleting the project doesnt put
you in such troubles.
