Deleting Projects from Project Pro Client or through PWA Admin

Are there any issues if I delete a project using the Project Pro client
instead of doing it through PWA Admin/Cleanup database.

Thanks

I believe that deleting the project in the Open from Microsoft Office
Project Server dialog leaves an "orphaned" WSS subweb for the deleted
project. Deleting the project in the PWA Clean Up Project Server Database
page gives you the option to delete the WSS subweb along with the project.
Hope this helps.

Hi Dale,

Thanks for that info. Is that the only concern we should have about
deleting from the Open in Project Pro. Our users want to delete the
project, keep the sharepoint site, create a new project and then change
the url for the Sharepoint site to be the old site. For them, this
process works well.

Do I need to be worried about anything being left in the database in
deleting from Project Pro?

Best Regards,
Rav
