Deleting records in a foldder object

Hi,

Can anyone help me with this one:

I have a folder object displaying master - detail information. On the
detail folder I have code in the current event doing som initial housekeeping
before the user enters data. If the user delete the master record, the code
in the child current event should not execute. Therefore I need to test the
delete status of the master record from the current event on the child
folder. How could I code this?
