Deleting Resource plan

Stephane Guerin

I've read that is not possible to delete a resource plan. However, if I
delete a project from the server, will the associated resource plan been
deleted also?

Stephane:

This is simply an oversight in the product design. When I pointed this out
to the product team some time ago, they were as surprised as you are now.
You can and should detach unwanted RPs from their respective project plans.
See:

Other than using a SQL query to purge the records, they will remain in the
database indefinitely. I hope to see Resource Plans included in database
management in the next version. After you upgrade, you'll be able to delete
them.

Hi Gary,

Thank for the answer.

When the RP is detached does it stop counting for the resources available
allocation?
