Deleting SubReport

I am having trouble deleting a subreport froma report in design view. The
only thing visible of the subreport is a scrollbar. When I click on it, I can
only scroll. How do I delete this subreport from the report?

Instead of clicking on it, drag around it to select it. Then press the
delete key.
