Deleting tasks in project does not delete them in the user's outlook

Hello,
If I am in the project 2007 professional, and I delete a task, or assign
a new resource to it and delete the previous person on the task. The task
still lives on in Outlook's task lisk for the previous resource.

Ervin,

I think you should unpublish the task first (to remove the assignment from
the resource), then make your changes and then rebuplish the task. Insert the
"Publish" field in Project pro, toggle to "No" for the task you want to
delete or change resources on and publish the plan to remove the assignments.
Now make your changes and then toggle "Publish" to "Yes" and publish the plan
again to re-populate the resource's assignments.

Hi Darrell,

I tried to follow your suggestion, it's work only for re-assign resource but
if I would like to delete task from Project Server. How to delete the tasks
from user calendar.

Please give me the suggestion.
