Deleting tasks

Deluth

I am managing a project that has been created by someone else. As it seems the project is going through re-definition and some tasks will need to be deleted. Is there a way I can mark the task as deleted, but don't really delete it? I want to keep it so that I can review them later - when the project completes. I want to do a post mortem to summarize what we did and why we removed the tasks that we removed. Is this possible in Project 2003? Thanks!

before you delete them, you can save the current project in baseline. after that, you can delete some unnecessary tasks, and you can see the comparasion in "tracking Gantt" view.

If you can help this person, then why don't you post the answer in the
newsgroup so that everyone can benefit? This newsgroup is a forum where we
all help one another publicly. I would suggest you start posting some real
answers instead of merely advertising your services.
