Deleting text previously inserted

P

Paul Simpson

Hi,

I have a macro which, amongst other things, inserts some
text into a document at a bookmark.

This works fine, however there are occasions when I need
the macro to run again and when it does, I need to delete
the text that was previously inserted before inserting
the fresh text.

If it helps, the text is in a text box and is the only
thing in there, so I's perfectly ok to simply remove the
contents of the textbox (although I have no idea how to
do this) providing the bookmark is left behind (this
could go as well if there is an alternate way of
inserying the text).

I hope my question is reasonably clear (?!)

Many thanks in advance for your help.
