Deleting Unwanted Blank Pages from a Word Document

I am presently unable to delete a third blank page from a two page document by simply clicking on the third page and pressing (either of the two) delete commands on an iMac. I AM able to do this on my PC, so I am confused.

How are you clicking on the third page? Are you clicking on the third
page in a thumbnail view down the side, or something? No, that mostly
doesn't work (works in Publishing Layout, but not generally).

Select the blankness and hit delete. Note, it's not really blank--you
have a page break or paragraph marks in there or something. Hit ¶ and
you might see them.

Word 2008 and WinWord are NOT the same program.

A tip to help s locate the the Paragraph mark icon on the Menu Bar and
click to unhide the formatting.

Check to see if you have some hidden Page Break or section Break markers

look similar to

or

-------Section Break-------

while formatting is unhidden locate those Paragraph Markers Daiya
mentioned.

Some times if you don't wan to use widow/orphan control you can add
extra Paragraph marks (returns). Some time you can add one or two too
many. only remove enough to remove the last page.

avoid remove the last return (paragraph mark) and remove the ones in
between.

The very last one contains all the formatting on Office2004.
