deleting words

Hi Phil:

I have kind of the same problem, I am not sure what you
mean when you say that "it always asks for confirmation."
What I get -- when I want to delete a word or phrase- is
a message on the bottom bar of the document that
says: "Detete block? No (Yes)" Is this the same message
you get? Any comments would be appreciated
