Deletion of page numbers

Dear Sirs,
I am a college student and am required to number the pages of my essays,
however, when putting them in my portfolio, I must remove the page numbers.
After having tried all resources, I am at a loss as how to remove the page
numbers from the essays. I hope you are able to help me. Sincerely,

Seems like you should be able to go right back into the same dialog box &
remove a check, huh? Unfortunately it isn't that simple because of the
flexibility of varying page numbering schemes throughout any given doc.

How much trouble it is to remove them depends on how much of that
versatility you've taken advantage of...

Go to View>Header and Footer, scroll to the Footer (or click the switch
to... button on the H/F toolbar) and edit out the page number information.
You may have to repeat for for each if you have multiple Sections in the
doc.
