I want to type a message now (Saturday evening) but, as it's going to a work address, I want to delay its delivery until Monday morning, because I know then its recipient will be guaranteed to receive it (for some reason he doesn't always get messages sent when his work system is switched off. He is, IIRC, running XP (could be 2003) and Outlook (version unknown)).
I'm pretty certain that delivery delay is a feature in Outlook (I only use it very rarely these days - my parents have a Winblows XP box running Office '07, and I'm pretty certain that my father has used it on occasion for the same reason that I wish to use it now).
Why not just wait until Monday, I hear you ask? Well, there are a couple of reasons: -
1) The bloke I'm emailing works for a radio station and has only limited time to access his email (usually between 8:30 and 10am) and I want him to be sure to receive it.
2) I have health problems which mean that it takes me longer than it would most people to compose an email, and doing it at the weekend allows me the time to compose it without feeling hurried.
So, is there a way to delay the delivery?
Cheers friends!
