Deliverable and Dependency

My questions are about Deliverable in Project 2007.

I have created 2 projects P1 et P2
in P1, I create a deliverable d1
in P2, I create a dependency on deliverable d1 of prject P1.


then I change the date of d1.

When I open P2 in project Professionnal, we can notice that the date
dependency don't change. But, when we open "manage dependencies on
deliverable", we can see the information in red color the changement :
we have the date in server, and the date of client. I am asking what
is the meaning of Server and Client in this Context?
and where the date of server and date of client are saved? Moreover,
where informations about dependency are saved (if we link a dependency
to a task , we have fields Deliverable start, deliverable finish,
deliverable Guid and Deliverable type which save information of
dependecy, but if we don't, Where Dependency informations are saved?

The deliverables are stored on both the WSS site and in the project. That is
why you cannot create a deliverable until you have published the project.
The depedency is also stored in the project. However, the "master" details
are stored on the WSS site, which is why you need to sync back to the project
from the WSS site. The deliverable can be changed directly on the WSS site
too.
