Deliverables causing MS Project 2007 to crash

Hi

I have applied SP2 and Aug CU to 2007 environment
Whenever I create a Deliverable from within a plan and click Done
Project crashes.
Is anyone else seeing this behaviour?

Thanks for the response. Some other threads suggest this problem is
actually a feature of IE8 rather MOPS SP2. I have not yet tested this.

Mike,

I can confirm this. We are having the same issue in our environment. All
machines having issues are running IE8. I tested using a machine with IE7 and
had no issues.

Does setting compatibility mode make any difference?

I had tried setting it to compatibility mode but still had the same error.

This is a confirmed issue with IE8. Microsoft is working on a fix.

I'm not aware of any workarounds other than:

Switch to a system with a 32bit OS
Create a VM for this until the patch is available

Anyone else have any ideas?

When you try to create the deliverable in Project it crashes the project plan
but the deliverable is created in the workspace. All you need to do is open
the plan, go to manage deliverables and the deliverable you created will
show. At that point you can accept the deliverable from the server and
publish your plan. Project will not crash this time.
