Deliverables Keep Disappearing

I add deliverables but they disappear and are reported as being on the
server. Once I accept the updates they appear fine and then they disappear
again.

BTW -Can you tell I am sad newbie? I am so looking forward to getting this
collaboration stuff working. I think I spend most of my day re-publishing
disjointed information.

First of all, you need to tell us what version of Project Server you are
using. 2002, 2003, or 2007? From the term "deliverable", I assume you are
using Project Server 2007. Also, whatever version you are using, please
tell us your current Service Pack level.

Second of all, you are using mixed terminology to describe your problem,
which only leaves me confused. When you use the term deliverables, are you
referring to the Deliverables you create from the Collaborate - Manage
Deliverables menu in Project Professional 2007? But then you use the term
updates to describe the same thing, and you say they disapppear. Are you
referring to task updates from your team members that you approve from the
Task Updates page in PWA? If this is the case, are you saying that after
you approve the task updates from the Task Updates page in PWA, the updates
never make it into the actual Microsoft Project plan? If this is the case,
the behavior you are describing is a bug in pre-Service Pack 1 with Project
Server 2007. Do you have at least Service Pack 1 installed? If not, then
that is probably the source of your problem.

I hope the above answers your questions. If not, you will need to supply us
with more information and we will try to help you.

We are you project server 2007 and the accept updates appears in the manage
deliverables pane.

I suspect this is related the other problem I was encountering as well. So
we can ignore this for now.
