Deny Date update to users

Hi,

i wish to deny to users the capability to update the start date and
the end-date of their own task.

It is Possible?

Unfortunately, there is no default way to deny users permission to edit the
Start and Finish fields in either the My Tasks page or My Assignments page.
Perhaps this might be possible by hacking the Web part for the My Tasks
page. Hope this helps.

You could create a couple of enterprise fields and call them similar to start
date and end date - and defined them to be equal to the "real" dates. Then,
modify the My Tasks page to display these fields instead of the real ones.
They will not be able to change them.
