hi

i like to knw if i can set the project server view to have a workflow...
like my assistant manager can see all the project plans in the department but
cannot see the project plans of the manager and similarly manager can see all
the project plan including the assitant manager ones...

a quick and detailed reply will be appreciated..

Hassan -

It isn't really workflow. What you need to do is set up an RBS. With
the workflow, and configuration of Categories, you can control who sees
what. The manager would see all current and future projects, while the
assistant manager would see "their own" and projects to which their
team members are assigned.

If you haven't already done so, go to:

and download the application configuration guide (among others). See
the section on creating an RBS and on configuring Groups and
Categories. What you want to do is not difficult.
