Dependancy Files in Runtime Installation

Joe

I have an ACC97 Db that I have been distributing with the
97 Packaging Wizard. After many problems with references
over the past couple of years, I decided to follow the
advice of many on these boards and switch to using Wise
installation with the Sagekey scripts.
With my very first installation, the client is getting a
compile error when opening the first form. I have only
the common dialogue controls as additional files
(comctl32.ocx and comdlg32.ocx). I currently have them
set to go into the %SYS32% folder, using the Sagekey
scripts. Is this correct? And if it is, any other
suggetions as to what this error might be caused by?

The client system is WinXP without MS Office. But as I
understand it, the Sagekey scripts will account for any
Windows (excl. 95) and Office configuration.

Thanks,
Joe

If your database is created in a windows 98, the comctl32.ocx and the comdlg32.ocx is in a folder named system and in a windows xp you have a folde called system32, the reference in windows98 is pointing to teh system folder and in windowsXp it wil point to system32. You have to point to the right folder in references in the VB module.
