dependent objects facility in 2003

Would anyone know why I can't find an option - under "View" - for looking at
object dependencies? As I understand it, this is supposed to be a capability
if you have name-tracking turned on, which I do.

But I can't find any menu item for looking at object dependencies.

Try this:
1) Go to View Menu->Toolbars->Customize... dialog.
2) Select the Options tab
3) Select Rearrange Commands...
4) Select 'View' from the Menu Bar dropdown
5) Press the button marked 'Reset...'
