dependent project

hi;
i wanna define a project that its start date is dependent on an external
task that i dont know its exact delivering time.so when i wanna define it
according my planning,if that task delivering time changes,my planning gantt
chart will change.i need to idendify this dependency and i dont know how.
please help me;
thanka alot.

Hi Shima,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

You must make a best estimate of the start date. Then when you know, you
can run the Adjust_Dates macro in the Analysis toolbar, or change to the new
start date you enter in Project/Project Information.
