Depersonalise an existing database

Mike

Hi

I have two Access databases that I have used for some time to store model
railroad details.
Some friends would like to have the databases for their own use.
Of course mine are personalised to me such as Mike's locos and so on.
I have tried to change the names to 'My locos' but am getting errors that
the jet engine can't find this and that??
I am not a power user so don't understand this.

Can anyone help me sort this out so I can share with others please?

Thanks

Mike, the ideal is to create a new table that contains personalization
information. Each person who uses the database puts their name, address, and
any other custom information in that table. Then when the program displays
custom data, it gets it from the table. This way, you get Mike's locos and
Charlie gets Charlie's locos. You both use the exact same Access program.
I would be willing to take a look at the project if you are willing to zip
the databases and email them to me.

Thanks for that and the kind offer.
I actualy managed to find some of the links and repair or replace.
