We have built a very basic MSI install package using Visual Studio
Installer.
No dialogs, no prompts, just copy 2 DLLs and register them. The first, our
licensed Redemption, and second, our custom COM object.
All permissions are set, locations are UNC'd, etc. However, starting Outlook
doesn't load/start the COM object. If you manually double-click the MSI,
everything
is fine.
I have tried both computer and user configuration in GPO. The Initial Load
Behavior is
set to 'Startup' (I am trying 'Load on demand' now) via the
Designers/Connect form.
Is this a problem with our COM object or the MSI ?
Thanks.
