Deploy custom workgroup Templates

I need to deploy new workgroup templates to a number o persones, how can i do
this? last time i maualy copied and enterd the right path in all the pc but i
think there is a better way.
(the templates cant be on server when all users have laptops)
(Server = SBS Prem, Clients = Xp pro, Office = 2003 Pro + std)

I just did it in our company.
You can create a folder in your network and give it read permissions for all
users.
Then you can create subfolders that will appear as tabs in the Templates
wizard. You can play around with permissions on these folders so as groups
of users see only the relevant tabs.
One important note: as long as the folder is empty it will not show as a
tab. You first have to create at least one template in there.
In one computer go in Word to Tools\Options\File Locations and modify the
Workgroup templates to the path of the folder you created on your network.
In regedit export the following key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Common\General\SharedTemplates
You can now run it on all computers. No administrator rights necessary so
it can be done by silent script.
Finaly you set the share as an offline folder and the users have them on
their computer.
