Deploy office 2007

I have my MSP files for custom installs, and my script that installs it, but
how do I deploy it to my machines through AD? If I put it as a startup script
will it not install (and then reinstall) every time the machines startup? I
need a method that requires no user intervention, as the install will take
place one evening. My users are students who have no rights and certinly
can't take any part in the install! I also need new machines to auto install
Office2007 when put into their correct GPO.

Thanks 4 any ideas.

As an aside, in my opinion editing config.xml is an unnecessary complication
after the ease of Office 2003 MST files.

The MS Installer that is used with GPO/Active Directory deployments doesn't support .MSP (MS Patch files) and that deployment
methods is not on the top of MS's suggestion list :)

You'll need to work with scripting and/or the use of Office 2007's "config.xml" to do your customization loading.

MS Office 2007 is language netural and uses multiple .MSI files (you an put all of the Office 2007 products you want to selectively
deploy into a single Office Network Installation Source (oNIP), rather than in the multiple Office Admin points from prior versions
and use the Setup.exe built in Office Customization Tool (OCT) to tie all of the .MSIs and feature settings together.

OK, so back to my question..I have my install scripts but If I put it as a
startup script will it not install (and then reinstall) every time the
machines startup? How do I install from a script just once if it isn't
already installed?
