Deploying Changes in Global.MPT for existing Projects

Hi everyone.

I'd like to know what's the best way for deploying changes in the Global,
for the existing projects. This is the situation: I created a macro where I
used several custom fields, then I added those fields to a table and finally
I added that table to the Global.

The problem is: when I select the table in the existing projects, the custom
fields don't show the name I set for them. What I get is Number1, Text3 and
so on. I really need to display the name of those fields because they are the
names of the indicators I created.

In new projects I have no problem, but in the old ones I do.

Suggestions?

You need to copy the renamed fields as well using the Organizer

Hi Rod.

I did that too, in fact I dit it before copying the table to the global.
Despite of this I keep getting the default names for the fields in the old
projects. As I said before, in the new ones there's no problems, I get the
"right" names. What else should I verify?

VBA can do what the organizer does (organizermoveitem method).
