Deploying IE6 with Office 2000

D

Doc

I have a Network Distribution Point for Office 2000 that
works perfectly.

Recently I used the custom installation wizard updated
my .mst file and pointed it to use the IE6 SP1 Flat File
created through IEAK 6.

I have gone over the settings very carefully looking for
problems.

When launched Office installs as it should. but no IE6
If I launch IE6 setup it loads with all it's
customizations.

they just don't work together using my custom .mst file??

Hi Doc,

IE6 deployment as part of Office 2000 wasn't
supported, although a modified version of
the workaround for IE5.5 with Office 2000 may work

(it's been awhile) <g>
