I have built a timesheet workbook in MS Excel that uses
the MS Calendar Control 11.0 (ActiveX) for a pop-up
calendar function for date entry. The workbook and all
functionality works perfectly on my laptop PC, but when I
distribute the workbook, users have reported an error
message of "object not found".
I've done the research and have concluded that the users
don't have the control. I tried to build an MS Excel add-
in, assuming that, upon deployment of the add-in, the
control would be deployed as well.
So my questions are:
1. Is there an easy way to deploy this workbook with the
control?
2. If a user is working in an earlier version of Excel
(say 2000), will the 11.0 version of the control still
work properly?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
