Deployment of normal.dotm or turn off double space globally

Is there a way with an adm file to turn off the double spacing that Word
wants to do by default?

I looked through some of the GPO .adm files and in the OCT for a way to turn
it off but dont see anything.

I have tried to "add a file" including my normal.dotm that I set the
appropriate option to turn off double spacing.

I think I would start by figuring out why Word seems to be double
spacing by default. Does more than one user have this issue? When did it
start? ???

That is the default set up for Word 2007. It didnt just start.

Apparently not according to MS. I don't have 2007 so I can't really

Hi,
Unfortunetely, this does not answer how to configure it on for a massive
deployment. I've also search in the OCT for a way to turn it off but I dont
see anything. Does somebody have a clue?
