Deployment Scenario

Hello All

We want to implement workspaces only for centralized file sharing.

In my understanding I will need in this case:

- 1 Manager Server (with SQL? Is SQL really necessary?)
- 1 Data-Bridge Server, where the files will be stored?

Can somebody confirm this?

And is it possible to install both machines on a Virtual Machine?

Cheers
Paulo

If 'file sharing' is all that you want to do - then SharePoint is a cheaper
alternative than the Groove servers.

Hi -

You'll need the manager server. It stored user data in SQL Server so you'll
need that as well.

You don't need EDB unless you want to integrate with other systems.

I believe the Groove2007 servers are 64bit so you'll need a virtual machine
that supports 64bit.

just to confirm: YES, the Groove Servers (manager, relay, data bridge) are
all 64bit applications.
