Description is column header rather than field name

I'm the third user to modify this database... other have
moved on...
When I run queries on one table, the description field
appears as the column title rather than the field name. In
the particular table it is VERY confusing.

It appears that something has been modified on this table.
wondering if I can change it back to the default?

If the field in the Table design has a caption property then that is what you
see.
