Design change in Access 97 not showing in Access 2002

I have a code MDB in which some hard coded text appearing
on a report has been changed using Access 97. When this
MDB is opened with Access 2002 on a different computer,
the report is not changed, i.e. it is as it was before
the change was made! The data database and code database
are both Access 97 format.

I have double checked and its not file permissions or
something simple like that. The code MDB is being
replaced and we are opening the correct MDB file. The
data MDB does NOT contain anything other than the data
tables. The SYSTEM.MDW file is identical on both
machines.

Any ideas?
