I am new to Powerpoint 2004- working on a G5.
Presentation involves title slides followed by 3 or 4 full screen
picture slides- 21 title slides, 84 full screen image slides.
In order to ensure design consistency I created a slide master for the
title slides- two text place holders and a black background.
When a title slide is required I click "new slide" (under insert menu)
when and full screen image slide is required I click on "Add large
picture slide" (under formatting palette). I noticed that slides that
came up with "Add large picture slide" have a black background.
Show transition is set with "fade" automatically at 4 second intervals.
When show starts it appears that I have a phantom blank black slide
between all the slides I created. If I change background behind full
screen images to white I get a blank white slide. These phantom slides
take the full 4 seconds to advance so it is a real timing problem.
Please advise what I did wrong and how to correct it.
Thanks for any help.
