I'm in the process of editing someone's idea of a "great design" for a
PowerPoint presentation. ARGH!!! I swear they felt if something was
possible, it needed to be included. Animations, sounds, bad grammar, and
funky shadows on some of the text.
It's not the bells and whistles and fancy graphics. Let's face it - your
subject matter is not something that needs to be "sexy". Stick to the
basics. When your information is needed, no one will care that you didn't
add glitz and glitter to the show.
