Design Template changing image aspect ratio?

Greetings,

I have several design templates that I have created that, when applied to a
presentation, appear to change the aspect ratio of images that are applied to
the main content area.

I have uploaded one of these POT files, and the PPT file that we are using
to test with, and if you apply the template to the show, you will see that
the aspect ratios of the images changes.

Is there any way to avoid this?
