Design view of a Report

Everytime I am trying to edit a report or form I get this
message. You do not have exclusive access to the database
at this time. If you proceed to make changes, you may not
be able to save them later. Can someone please tell me how
to take away the exclusive access to everything and just
have access to edit reports and forms as we please.

Hello Shelley,

Access 2000 and newer no longer allows one to open a form or report in
design view while others are using the database. You will either have to
get all other users out of the database so that you can make your changes
(which will "get old" very quickly); or, you can keep a copy of the database
on your computer, make and test your changes at will and export new objects
to the database.
