Design view will not open!

This is the first time I have incorporated experessions
into the query criteria so I do not know if that is what
is causing this problem.

So here is a quick outline of my situation:
Created a Query By Form database, my first.
Created the form, macro, and query.
Designed query with criteria read from the form via Build
Expression.
It all worked!! (Happy day!!)

Now the problem, I tried to open the query in Design view
and the program locks!!

So now I can't update my query. Does anyone know what is
going on?
