desktop freezes when trying to open mail

Hello there,

After downloading my mail on Mac OS 9.2 unable to open Mail client.
mouse works but system is frozen. In result, I become unable to choose
or work on any other application too. What can I do?

There was a mail (20MB) on the remote mail server which I have
removed. But it either didn’t help. Would you please suggest how can I
solve the problem... because, I need some emails already in my mail
program. And since I cannot open the email client, I cannot access
them

Hi,

Are you trying to download the mail to a Pst?

Try creating a new profile. Probably the profile might have got corrupted!!
