Assuming the external tablet device has its drivers installed correctly,
OneNote should be able to see and use it as a normal mouse.
However, you will not be able to take advantage of the handwriting
recognition or searching/indexing because those features are actually
supplied by the Tablet PC OS, which is only available from OEM manufacturers
on special Tablet PC devices.
You will still be able to "write" in OneNote using the tablet's pen, but
OneNote will treat your handwriting as a picture.
