desperate for help on lost file

I opened a file from outlook and instead of saving it to
disk I just opened it without thinking. I added very
important material to the document and now i dont know if
there is any way to retrieve the new material.

I am using Windows 98, Microsoft Word 2002, and Outlook
Express 6.

Can anybody please help me out
